Mathieu Viannay opened the BRAZIER WINE BAR in early 2012 adjoining La Mère Brazier. It can seat up to 17 people and has become a popular place for friends and family to get together over pleasant food and tipples. As you would expect from this committed wine-lover, this is an entirely original wine bar where you can tuck into simple food and a top-end wine menu at close to cellar prices.
The BRAZIER WINE BAR (BWB) is a wine bar for epicureans who love to blend quality dining with pleasant environments. It was created as a result of collaboration between Mathieu Viannay and the Atelier Chemin Neuf firm of architects. The Chef delved into his imagination to dream up the ingredients for the design.
The rigour of metal, the warmth of wood and the softness of baize combine to give this spot a chic and cosy vibe.
As a lover of fine wines himself, Mathieu Viannay invites fellow enthusiasts to discover his latest selection in his cellar, bar and restaurant to complement the delights available in the main Michelin star restaurant (the wine list features more than 280 choices, with the lion’s share being Bourgognes and Rhône Valley wines).
Wooden racks go right around the premises and a large and agreeable table d’hôtes is available opposite the bar offering classic bistro dishes that are sure to delight.
